Aluminum Oxidation

Hello all,



I did a search on aluminum oxidation but, the results didn't leave me with much encouragement.



Is there a product or process that will remove the oxidation and keep it from coming back? I know I am probably asking for too much but any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I just purchased Meguiars Engine Kote in the hopes this might help in the prevention but, I am not having much luck removing the oxidation. I have tried Simple Green, Meguiars Extra and APC.



Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

I hate to say it, but you are in for some work on this one. The best product that I have come across for aluminum is Autosol. It's a German paste that works very well, but it is messy!!



I did hear that there is a chemical used on aluminum hulls of boats, but I have yet to find it; if it even exists.
