I finally got the money to waste on more detailing stuff.. I had my total up to $80 with shipping so I firgured I would add some more crap to get it over $100 to get that awesome meguiars duffel bag that I always wanted.. So I added some more crap to the cart and order it! I start getting all excited about my new duffel bag when I come upon that fine print that says "Orders over $100 get a free blah blah blah, but shipping charges are not included in final price.."!!!!!!?????????!!!!!!!!!

Why are you pissed off at ADS when it's your fault? It's one of the first clickable links at the top left of their homepage. It states it right on the page in the same size font, except in red and bold, and it's written in plain English. What more could you want from a disclosure?



It's pretty common knowledge that usually with discounts, shipping costs are not included. Sorta the same thing how we all know you pay the tax for the full price of an item, even if there's some form of mail-in rebate involved.

I have a few of those Meg's duffle bags and they're pretty decent. I use one to store my PC and pc brushes. The others I have hidden somewhere in the garage unused. It's just like many other promotional items. It's not one of those things I would buy if Meg's were to charge me for it. The quality is nowhere near that of the bag given with the Makita.



In any case, I would call up Rick because I've done business with him before and I like how he handles his business. I just haven't shopped lately with him because he mainly carries Meguiar's, his prices are just ok, and to get the best deals when you order from ADS, I always found myself ordering more than what I wanted (or my pocketbook wanted) to take advantage of the fixed $16.95 shipping price after $100.
 
Im not really PO'ed with ADS(even though my title says that), just alittle PO'ed in general. I read over all the terms but for some reason I didnt notice the total must be without shipping. I tried calling him but I got his answering machine..



I think Ill add the Microfiber Soft Touch Drying Cloth and a MF to get it over $100..
 
Called all through-out the day and no one has answered... I figured they may be on vacation or something..



I was hoping to get it by next weekend since Ill be going home from school.. I wont be going home again for 3 weeks after this weekend.. :(
 
Bummer! I think he always puts something up on his site when he is not going to be there. Maybe he's just too busy to answer the phone. Hope it works out.
 
Never did get ahold of him by phone, but he replied to my email.. Alittle strange..



Anyway, he said he would add that to my order right away.. Woot! Im getting a duffel bag! haha..

When I went to the roadshow, Mike said that he really liked it backed with the water magnets.



Ive been trying to prefect my drying method and Im hoping that will help speed it up some while also giving better results. The water magnets give a good finsh(IE, no streaks), but you need to keep them good and dry.. Im hoping that the soft touch towel will remove the majority of the water and then Ill following that with a WM.
