Got a call from this client for some work on her black IS250. She was selling it and wanted the outside cleaned up. Had swirls, some scuffs, and other imperfections she wanted removed in order to get top dollar. This car was one of those that looked pretty good, until you looked at it under the halogens! :O

Drop-off was on Saturday at 5.30 p.m.

To start the car off, I first took care of the wheels, tires, and wheel wells. Tires and wells received Chemical Guys Orange Degreaser then agitated with assortment of brushes. The wheels got a nice coat of Chemical Guys Sticky Wheel Gel and also agitated then pressure rinsed clean.

After the wheels were done, I then rinsed the car and gave it a nice foam with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash Clear and let sit for 3 min to break up dirt/grime.

Next, came a nice 2 bucket wash with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash + Gloss.

The car was then rinsed, dried, clayed, and wiped down with IPA 1:1 prepping for polishing.

For correction, I found that SIP/orange and 106/blue did the job on this softer black Lexus paint.

The car then received a coat of Chemical Guys JetSeal109 and Pinnacle Souveran Paste as an LSP. While waiting for the JetSeal109 to cure, I polished the exhaust tips with Chemcial Guys Metal Shine and #0000 Steel Wool then dressed the tires with Chemical Guys Extreme Shine.

Your right, it did look bad up close. Nice work! Little confused for the IPA after washing, and claying. Most polishes and pad combos will blaze through any existing protection.

thanks guys
