Air Compressor help

So I got in the mail today a Harbor Freight sale paper. It has the Central Pneumatic 3hp 10gal 115psi compressor for $119.99 (regular $179.99)

it produces 5.6 CFM @ 90 PSI, which is on par with the below compressor:



Porter Cable C3151 Job Boss 150 PSI Portable Air Compressor



so my question is this will this compressor the Central Pneumatic one work with the Tornador? My only concern is the hose size, it says in the manual for the CP that it has an air outlet size of " 1/4" - 18 NPT Male Thread"

I've never bought an air compressor before, my dad bought an air compressor from harbor freight and it worked out great for him, 2 years ago and it still works



Any thoughts on the above compressor, it wont get everyday use, perhaps 3 - 4 times a week if that.

I am happy the 3hp is on sale for $119.99, and thanks for the other link, if they dont have the 3HP one I can always get the 2HP one.



The Tornador doesn't "tax" the compressor to much does it? I guess the compressor will be able to keep up with the use needed....

I'd for sure get the larger one. The extra 2 gallons will help. There are rare occasions where the Tornado will slow down for a second while the compressors fills up.
