AIO vs ColorX

I know that AIO is somewhat better as a stand alone. But if I always follow ColorX with UPP and then either Natty's or #16 is it likely that I (or anyone) would notice a difference with AIO?

trying not to order too much product.

I guess I could look elsewhere for this answer but im to lazy...I have always thought that upp as 1zupp.

Weâ€â„¢re getting so many Acronyms that weâ€â„¢re going to have to be careful.

UPP in this instance is the 4-Star Ultimate Paint Protection. To avoid confusion (especially among new members) I guess we need to add the âہ“1Zâ€Â in front of the Einszett products like 1ZUPP. It may be advantageous to do this especially since 1ZUPP (Ultra Paint Polish) is now called 1ZEPP (Extra Paint Polish).

tdekany,

So Colorx/UPP/Natty's > AIO/UPP/Natty's in your view?

Good. Even if they're about equal, this means I won't bother ordering AIO.

I had a small sample but didn't do an equal test before I ran out.

I guess AIO makes the perfect base for SG, but I like UPP's slickness better than Klasse's and don't mind that it's supposedly slightly less durable. While I'm in my OCD phase, I won't let anything sit for more than a month anyway.

Thanks to Detailgirl, I also tried Z5/Z2 a while back and didn't care for the look or the finicky-don't-put-me-over oils quality. So I guess it's UPP as I can put it over Colorx, VM, #80, #9 or #82. And it's easy to top with #16 after the initial slickness goes.

:up

jvcn,

You might want to check with someone at PAC about putting UPP over ColorX....you may have some bonding issues putting the sealant over a wax??

I thought ColorX was mostly polymer? Haven't noticed any problems with UPP. Then again, if it last a month or two I'm happy.

It contains some carnauba, but how much in a $7 bottle of cleaner wax? Probably not much.
