AIO+SG+Wax=Good?

I want to use Klasse AIO and then top with SG. Then top with some sort of wax. Do I have to wait 24 hours after I apply the SG before I apply wax? Would the SG under wax even matter? Could I apply the NXT Tech Wax? Or would that just nullify the AIO+SG combo...I hear it's a cleaner wax. Would I have to get some S100 or Meguiars Mirror Shine?

Yup, you need to wait at least 24hrs before topping the SG with a carnuba wax. If you top SG, use a pure carnuba wax, like S100, P21S, blitz, souveran. Stay away from any type of cleaner wax as it will strip off your SG. This would be bad as the SG is what provides the protection.

And yes, NXT is basically a cleaner wax. Applying it over SG will strip the SG, making it pointless to use.

Bill.

Just remember too that if you apply wax over AIO\SG and decide you want another layer of SG for protection you'll have to start all over again with the AIO as SG won't bond well over carnauba wax.

Hey Bill you changed your motto. Is this the new you? :hm

AIO, SG x 3, S100 is a very nice combo. :up

If you top SG with a carnuba wax (P21S or Souveran) what would be the best carnuba QD spray to use with this combo? You would not want to use the Sonus acrylic spritz on top of the carnuba would you? Thanks, Wes

If I were to use a glaze, where would it fit in? Would I have to forego the AIO? Or would it just be:

AIO then Glaze (3M Imperial Hand Glaze) then SGx3 then pure wax?

Or Glaze then SGx3 then pure wax?

Or No Klasse at all?

i think if you glaze, then the sg wont stick, since all the scratches will be filled with the glaze material.

AIO + NXT is a very nice combination. I put it on a single stage white paint Accord in late January (customer's daughter, so the car sits at the high school during the day, covered parking in the afternoon at her Dad's office) and when I washed it about a week ago, it was still beading very well, was noticably slick and looked great!

Normally, NXT seems to lose most of its slickness after 3-4 weeks (still feels smooth and beads well) but not on this car with AIO as its base.
