AIO removal of other products?

I've got 3M Finish It II for dark cars. I assume this does some type of swirl filling to help reduce the appearance of swirls. Will AIO remove any good the 3M Finish It II caused, or any other product for that matter?

If you used something that left behind some fillers/oils, then yes, AIO would probably clean them right off.

So would I apply a swirl reducer after I use AIO?

Use the swirl reducer then AIO then your LSP of choice.

Yeah if you used a swirl-removing polish after AIO, it would remove the acrylic protection layer left behind by AIO.

I'd chose between the two approaches- AIO vs. products with fillers. I'll use one or the other but not both.



I don't like the way AIO makes some marring more noticeable so I only use it on basically perfect finishes. If I want that kind of product on an imperfect surface, I'll use Autoglym's SRP and top *that* with a "heavy" wax. The SRP seems to do a *little* (very little) filling and generally looks better than AIO on marred finishes IMO.
