Which combination will give the best shine on a Nighthawk Black Pearl car? Klasse AIO topped of with Natty's Blue or RMG topped of with Natty's blue? Is RMG similar to AIO?

aio and rmg are two different products, aio is a cleaner while rmg is a glaze. why dont you use aio, rmg and then top with nattys? i have nighthawk black pearl and when i get a chance, im gonna use aio, rmg, but top with souveran

I would use AIO to clean up the paint then glaze with the RMG and then top with wax.

Either will look good under it, if your using one or the other RMG will look wetter.

I would follow Richt's advice. Do you already have those products? The only thing I would do different if you are going to buy new stuff is pick up Souveran instead of Nattys for $36 (half price) while its on sale. If you already have the supplies, the combo you mention will be awesome.

AIO would rid of the effects of glazing if glazing would be applied first. If glaze is used before AIO: The glazing oils should be worked into the paint /w PC or rotary then AIO. Because the glazing oils will be worked deeper in to the paint that AIO cleaners can't remove. Second part of glazing is filling in defects and covering up micro-scratches. As far as I know most glazes has cleaners that would remove the AIO but if a glaze doesn't have any cleaners then the glaze can go over AIO. OK now if glaze can bring oils back into paint how can glazes have cleaners. Confused I'm lol, OK my definition of glaze is: To bring back oils to the paint and filling in defects and covering up micro-scratches and clean the paint. So only thing I can come up with is all glazes that Co.'s have on the market are not crated equal. Some glazes just have just the oils to bring back the life of the paint, some have both oils and fillers, some have oils and fillers and a cleaner

Ok I think I got it.....one last question is Clearkoats VM similar to Klasse AIO? And if so which is a better combo...

AIO/RMG/nattty's Blue or

VM/RMG/natty's Blue?

VM is a glaze also with very little cleaners. AIO is a super paint cleaner.

The recommendation I got from Clearkote was the following:

Ultimate WET LOOK

Machine:

Wash the car. Dry it off. Use the "Red Moose Machine Glaze" This is used to remove those "spider web scratches and holograms from the surface. Use the Yellow Moose Cream Wax. (This improves the reflective gloss). Then put a layer of our Carnauba Moose wax. (This seals the surface and gives the wet look). Maintain with Quik Shine. (A Q.D.).

By hand:

Same as above, except, use the Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze. The end result will not be quite as wet looking as the machine steps. It is still very impressive to see.

You don't need the Blue Moose or the Compound Moose for your issues. They are to aggressive

I hope this helps.

I feel like thats redundant as AIO and VM both have minor cleaners in them and both leave the paint in perfect condition for a wax or sealant. (actually VM leaves the paint wetter on account of its oils..which I dont find AIO to have)...

I'll tell you what, try the VM on one car without the AIO and see if you see a difference. VM and AIO are soooo different products. AIO is a dedicated paint cleaner(awesome one at that) VM is a glaze, NOT a paint cleaner per say. VM is full of OILS which in turn leads to wetness....AIO , not a chance. They are not even close to the same thing.

Taken from Patrick's site: VANILLA MOOSE WAX HAND GLAZE: To remove those 'Spider Web Scratches' that are induced during washing or drying. It can be used with a buffer for outstanding results. Use on all paint, plastic, glass, chrome and rubber molding around windows. An excellent oxidization remover. Use before Moose Wax and maintain that wet deep rich color and luster with Quik Shine between waxing

I just this weekend used the VM for the first time having come from AIO as my primary cleaner. I would say that AIO is certainly a better cleaner than VM..but I wouldnt say that VM is solely a glaze...as it does have some cleaning abilities.)

That said...I guess VM isnt a replacement for AIO..but I actually liked the results more from the VM than i typically do from my AIO results.

(on account of its oils/glazing ability)

Exactly !! But *I* have never been lucky enough to "remove" any defects with VM. I use it as a show car glaze. Now RMG, I cant wait to try that.

I wont lie..neither was I...and it really irritated me. Granted there werent many defects in my paint but the few that were present definitely would have been removed by AIO and werent by the VM.

I might in the future go with AIO followed up with RMG....

I have cleaned up some light marks with VM and a polishing pad by PC.

I have only ever used RMG with a finishing pad so cant comment on that one.
