aio and vanilla moose

AIO is more abrasive than vanillia moose. AIO should gone on first and the vanillia should add a more oils and dept to the paint.

I agree with chasnj. Though, I would not use them together. As they do preform the same thing. AIO is a sealant and will last longer whilke vm is more of a carnauba cleaner/wax with less durbility. AIO will be great, by itself or for any king of topping (sealant or carnauba), and vm will give you a great carnauba look itself (I am not sure on its ability of being topped. Do a search).

I think it would depend on what you're trying to accomplish. If you're prepping for Klasse SG, then definitely use VM before AIO.

I'm not sure that AIO is more abrasive than VM though... people have reported reducing swirls using VM, while I'm pretty sure AIO has never been known to do anything for swirls.

Vanilla Moose is not a carnuba based product. It is petroleum based, but it does leave a very wet carnuba look. Since both AOI and VM have cleaning capabilities, I'd use one or the other...but if you use both, use VM first since it will remove minor swirls.

My mistake:o .

I remember a lot of posts where people talk about using gepc with aio and having that make a difference to them. Since gepc has often been compared to vm, I wondered how vm would fare with aio.

I think they perform similar functions. Why do you want to use both?

raymond_ho2002,

Good point ... I see where you getting at now.

Just received my Quik Shine today. Don't have any experience with ClearKote products yet, but will be ordering VM soon.
