hey guys!!! i just drove my baby for a while and it seems mamma spider left some eggs in my car!! they are on the side of the dashboard next to the door!!! you can see them when you open the door...what can i do?? will RAID work?? or will it damage the dash in any way??

thanks!!!

Just use some house hold spray for killing spiders and spray it under the seats an dash, after you get what you can out that is. This will kill any left or at lest make them leave.

I wouldn't spray anything on the inside mainly because the smell lingers on forever in closed spaces. You would probably be better off using a shop vac and dumping them out in the yard somewhere.

I will find out what I use cause the stuff I use is for inside the house and there is no smell to it.

just to follow up guys... i vacumed the suckers out... this morning i did not see anything,,... so i think it worked!!!

thanks for the help!:bounce

To get rid of the spiders, I recommend that you use Demon WP insecticide. It is odorless and safe for indoor use. I live in Alabama and you cannot buy Demon in Walmart or Lowes.

I have to buy it at the farmers Co-op. It does not require a license to use, but the sale is limited to certain locations. It does a number on insects and spiders for months. Also, it does not give off fumes.

The way it works is: one packet is dissolved in a one gallon hand-pressurized pump sprayer, like you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot. Spray a small stream where the bugs nest or crawl.

Once the water evaporates, a fine powder residue is left behind. When the bugs walk across it, they get some of the powder on their feet. The absorption of the powder is what kills them.

It is the ONLY insecticide I have found that gives off no odor, lasts for months in the home (use on baseboards), and (best of all) kills spiders!

If you can get it, this will solve your little problem.

i dont know what to do now... i tried vacuming them but they came back

i just dont want to spray anything but i think i am going to have to..

now the question is.... will that stuff hurt the plastic in my dash?? if it touches the paint... will it hurt it??

thanks!

I am still dealing with an ant colony that decided to make my Mustang their new home. They started on the outside but, a few made it in. After two days of battling the buggers inside the car I think I have them confined to the outside now. I am washing the car each day when I get home as it stirs them up and I can suck them off the surface of the car with the shopvac (taped up the end of the hose attachment so it wouldn't scratch). I have been resisting the urge to use bug spray in or on the car as I don't know how it will affect the different surfaces as far as staining. I believe I am on the home stretch today thank goodness :xyxthumbs

I recall spiders making my Maximas home every fall. For the most part, they'd be on the outside but I have had one or two in the car which usually invokes my swat reflex.

we have these bad boys out here in az...they are about the size of a small child (ok, maybe not that big - but BIG), i was out in my yard one night barefoot and had one walk across the top off my foot

ROFLMAO! Kinda reminds me of the movie The In-Laws where Peter Falk talks about the giant Tetse flies carrying small children off...

Funny stuff
