I'm in the middle of a detail this morning on a customer's car and I hear the sound of construction equipment down the street. No big deal- They're just working on resurfacing the asphalt around the neighborhood and I guess they're working a couple blocks over. Makes the area smell horrid, but I can deal.
I look up and see TONS of dust. When they resurface around here, they lay baseball field dirt at the ends of the driveways. I guess to keep the fresh tar and oil from clinging to your tires. NOW THEY'RE GOING AROUND CLEANING IT UP!!! They're using a CAT machine with some sort of huge scrubber on the end to brush away the dirt. I'm watching this thing getting closer. I can't stop now. I don't know what I'm going to do if they mess up my work! Not to mention I have the Porsche sitting out front and it shows dust like crazy! Heads will roll...:grrr
