Autogeek's 2nd Annual DetailFest



DetailFest 2007 is scheduled for Saturday, February 24. This is an opportunity for hobbyists and detailers to get together, compare techniques, and of course see our new digs! We'll have a professional detailer on hand to perform demonstrations of products and polishers. The parking lot will be equipped with power outlets and wash stations. Feel free to detail your own vehicle or just observe. We'll be grilling hot dogs so bring your appetite along with your detailing supplies. DetailFest is from 9 am to 4 pm right here at the PBMA

headquarters in Stuart, Florida.

To tell whether Silicone is actually doing it's job it is better to see pics showing undressed vs. dressed to see the results. From what I can see with the given pictures, it is indeed good silicone. :secret
 
Spam, is such a terrible word Chris. How about innapropriate and irresponsible......Of course every time one of us replies, it gets bumped back to the top, so its nothing short of brilliant, even though innapropriate and irresponsible.....
 
Silicone has its place in detailing. What happens when silicone comes of age? Its just baaaaaaaad!

On another note, I cant believe this thread (I mean Spam) has gone over 30 days.....Something is just not right in Autopiaville.........
 
Ah c'mon, like Sgt. Huckla said," Lighten up Francis!" AG put on a good event, wish I could have gone, nothing like beautiful ladies and cars. Side note, some bible thumpin twit complained about the pictures over on Detail City and they caved under and removed them. At least Autopia still has a pair in it's jeans! If anybody considered the wonder twins pictued here as porno - then buddy you have major issues.
 
I don't see how this is spam? Scott was just mentioning a get together, there were other vendors that showed up and other companies all together, it was a nice mix, though I didn't make it and I live closer then most of them lol.

I remember getting an email about this awhile back, but I'm on the West Coast so my chances of going were pretty slim.



In any case, I think I would have to do a 50/50 ISA wipedown to see if any fillers were used or not ;) Those girls could buff my knob any day, although my wife will kill them afterwards LOL
 
I wish AG was a sponser here, I just dropped DC forum from my bookmarks and never plan to waste my time there again. That place was dead, but what finished me was that twit that complained about the models at the meet. And DC caved and said, oh we're sorry if a girl in shorts offended you. Just what the f#&% are we now, governed under some radical religion that bans women in car photos. I told those wusses what I thought of them and signed off for the last time. Got a PM notice from them this morning in my e-mail, promptly deleted it - now that was spam.
