aaah the good old 205 GTI, for the age of the car and how its prone to rust that is in top condition :D. pardon me if i am wrong but shouldnt the #20 be put on first before the waxes?

It is the combination of the engine and the superb chassis which makes the 205 a great car. Light and very nimble.

A very nice 205 Rich :xyxthumbs

It's a light weight car, with a 1.9L engine and 130HP. Very nervous and great handling. A racer on mountain or street. Front wheel drive, of course!

Very nice looking!

Thanks for the comments guys. It is the 1900 version of thc car , in is one of the finest handling hot hatches we still have in the uk. It handles very well, but can bite you, as they suffer from lift off oversteer.

Now for the important pics. The reason i took the above as i was cleaning up the under carrige for an article for out car club magazine.

I cleaned up the underside with Autoglym engine cleaner, lots of soapy water and a pressure washer what do you think, still needs more work and maybe some painting.

The 20 was put on before the wax? I used the super resin polish first just because i wanted a mild polish and was saving my P21s Cleanser for the 306.

I then used the glaze and then the 20 and topped with the p21s wax.

apologies there :D for some reason i went straight back into my pre-autopia days when i saw AG's SRP thinking both polish and waxes were the same thing! i feel gutted and embarrased...

Thats the thing with SRP it can be used as a one stage polish and wax, as it is. Hell the is enough people that just do that. I need the process i undertook it was just used for its mild polishing abilitys.

The back box is a stainless devil one of 1996 vintage. I plan to replace it with a magnex at some stage.

good stuff, having read the label i thought to myself if it was a one step cleaner wax or somewhere along those lines.

the backbox is from 1996 you say? man when they say lifetime guaruntee they mean it! yeah i tend to think that for off-the-shelf exhausts you cant beat magnex or scorpion. cheers.

Yeah was fitted by the previous owner. I agree, scorpions stainless and welding is not as good as the magnx tho.

I was doing an article about doing a prep for a car show, for our Peugeot Club magazine hence it all had to be done right!
