After QEW

I used QEW for the first time on my cobra and I have to say I was impressed. I haven't had a chance to use my new PC yet so I coudn't tell if it marred paint (really doesn't matter until I polish).

I was tempted to scrub the bugs off my car but resisted. What do you normally use to get bugs off after washing. My front bumper and mirror had sooooo many bug splatters from my trip to the beach. I've read tarminator (I think it's spelled) and a hot cloth works too. Any other suggestions for this bug graveyard?

There are a lot of bug removers on the market and most work pretty well. I've found the Long Haul Degreaser/Bug Remover works great and it compatible with QEW (as in the suds created breakdown and can be wiped off without streaks). I would suggest cleaning the front end as the final section you QEW wash though.

Hey Scottwax, I've read that you can use QEW where you don't have access to water. You mix the right amount of QEW with the right amount of water. How do you go about using it? From the description I've read about QEW, they are not very clear on how one goes about using it. What is the process you use? Thanks.

Do a search for wash or QEW or something. There is a thread somewhere that details its use. I use it all the time b/c I live in an apartment. Works great and is very easy to use!

I used QEW when I do have access to water too. It is my preferred way to wash cars.
