AEG PE 150 vs Flex 3403 VRG

Found this AEG PE 150

Was wondering if anyone has posisbly used one of these and perhaps had experience with the Flex 3403. The 2 machines seems rather similar in size and weight with the AEG having a more favourable 900rpm min speed as opposed to the Flex's 1100rpm but then again the Flex has a 1400w motor compared to the AEG's 1200w.

Thoughts anyone ?

I would have to say that the flex 3403 1100 rpm is really slow IMO, I use 4" (and maybe 5.5" pads) and I am finding the 1100 speed to be perfectly fine. The only thing it doesn't do well is spread out polish, but honestly, I prefer to do that without the buffer turned on. Others my feel differently.

Yeah, same here. As soon as you put any load at all on the motor (just the weight of the buffer on a norizontal surface), it slows the motor down quite a bit. The most RPM sensitive polish I have (1Z Hochglanz) doesn't work well at all over 1k rpm's, but I haven't had a problem using it with the 3403 yet.

The main advantage of the AEG (and its Milwaukee brand-counterpart) is the low weight. The RPM range is perfect, and don't worry about the missing 200 W.
