It's been a while since I've posted here, but I have a question:
A friend just bought a used Saab whose previous owner had a dog. Apparently she spent all day cleaning it, but the hair was very imbedded and the smell is still apparent.
Here is the rub: She lives in a different state and it is unrealistic for me to bring my supplies with me to try stuff (I had a shiver up my spine when she told me she "armor all'd" her car!).
Any advice on how to remove the smell? How about the pet hair?
I figured bringing it to a do it yourself car wash (or even a vaccuum at a drive in place) would help with the hair -- much better suction.
What about the smell? A good upolstery cleaner? What about a steam cleaner... but where can she do it?
Thanks,
Jeff
