advertising on forums

I think the best way to find pricing is to ask the forum itself. Each one will be different. For detailing, I would think it would be best to advertise to local car clubs or local forums.

Sorry, I am no help.

I have talked to and witnessed some discussions based on this topic. I think it all depends on what you feel is fair and how much return on your investment you receive. I can advertise in an exotic car forum but if I don't have any of these vehicles local to me it would realistically be a waste of money. I would think its all about know the forum members and focusing your "advertising" to the segment you are trying to reach.

The better thing might be to start posting in the detailing section of a forum as a contributer and simply give advice and then mention you are a detailer. But not try and put all your info in your signature. Kinda like a word of mouth campaign via the forum.

Does anyone advertise on car forums and if yes what is the cost associated?

If you mean for a detail business, my thoughts are your best bang for the buck in advertising is targeting your local market, newspapers, flyers, etc..the net is a huge arena but how many in your target area are on that small segment?
