advertising idea

Each spring my church has a big 3 day fiesta. This yr i am adding my service as a prize. Last yr they sold 14k raffle tkts. Thats a lot of free advertising

the raffle tickets are general, not so much for advertising your business.  I have done it twice...not one paid detail with over 10000 people at the events

Make sure to limit the offer so that someone doesn't bring you a trashed car expecting a full detail.  I did a raffle once.  The winner of the detail passed it on to a friend who's car was a disaster.  Fortunately I limited the value of the prize but the owner wasn't going to spend a single dollar more so it was a lost cause for me.

Costs you very little really (if redeemed) and the opportunity for exposure is excellent. Just make sure you explain what the winner is exactly getting.

What i would do is make a poster board at say kinkos and put it up on an easel stand... large enough font so everyone can see it: outlining all of the different process that the winner will receive...

If you would also have pictures of other work youve compelted, you woudl really show off your work for any potential clients

Then i would type up a description [or several copies in case they are lost] ready for the auctioneer.. That way they read it EACTLY how you want it to sound to the audience....
