Advanced Swirl Remover Vs IP with a little note about S-100

This is the second review I'm writing and I hope they are getting better.

My method of testing first i took my green jeep that had some scratches on the hood and washed her I then took one side of the hood for the IP and the other for the ASR.

Washed and 50/50 h2o and etho(I know that's the drinking kind but I used the rubbing)

First test was a small area by hand. I did what the bottle said the ASR was a dry appliator and it seemed like I could feel the product working. The product was a white thick liquid that you could free the abrasives in. I wiped the area with a clean MF and found a tone of hazing.
Next I took the IP and did the same except they wanted a moist appliator and a moist MF to wipe the IP off. I was sureprsed because there was Very little hasing at all if there was any by hand and also the IP didn't feel gritty.

After the hand test

I then used my rotary with a polishing pad they both seemed equal with this test even though the IP seemed to gloss up more it was for certin I could apply the LSP over either of them. One thing I did notice is that some of the heavier scratches were still there now they didn't catch a fingernail but you could still see them if you looked close.(it's a daily driver and i know it can't be perfect)

I ended up doing the whole car with FFII and then put #20 and topped it with S-100

about the S-100 I was very disapointed It seemed to darken the color and mute out the matalic flake. This is the first time I used this and was a little surprised but I know I did like the deep ness of the color and the refectivy was up there But I love the gold matalic pop that natty's and PS gave the green.

I don't have any finished pictures because the fire house installed new energy saving lights and it is darker back there then ever before if there isn't too much snow on her tomorrow i'll try to get you a pic of her before she get's all dirty

Which one would you choose to be better than the other?

I got in on the ASR from Autogeek giveaway but have yet to use it.

Would you say that ASR is more abrasive than SSR2.5?

I've never used 2.5 so I can't comment But I thought IP would be more abrasice but maybe it brakes down better I think if i had a lot of scratches to remove i would be working the ASR as my first choice.

I have recently used both, and I would say the Pinnacle ASR is a tad more aggressive than the SSR2.5, but the SSR2.5 seemed easier for me to use and did not seem like it left behind as much stuff (product, not hazing/micromarring) to remove as the ASR. Both were used with a clean Sonus DAS Orange pad.
