Adam's Polishes?

Hi Folks,

Just curious if anyone has tried the Adam's line of stuff?

I have, and honestly came away less than impressed. That said, I've seen vehicles at shows that have been detailed with the stuff and have been told by a few fans that I must've received a bad batch of product.

I've used and have been impressed with their VRT dressings and their metal polishes, but the paint care stuff just hasn't done a thing for me. I'd be interested to hear any thoughts...thanks in advance.

I use Adams product and love them. I personally cannot stand the VRT though. The metal polishes are some of the easiest i have used and give great results.
I use the Revive,Brilliance Spray Glaze and Butter Wax. I also use the In and Out Spray which is fantastic. By the way if you are using his Revive and his scratch out to remove scratches then you are wasting your time in my opinion. His stuff is meant for finishes that are already flaw free. For scratch and swirl removal i use Poorboys.

You can't forget the Detail Spray! That is some impressive stuff. I have also heard the same about the polishes- Adams better products are the ones for LSPs and such.

This is why they have so many different brands and products available.
One likes the stuff, one doesn't.
That's what makes the hobby so interesting.:)
Whatever the product, you need to make your own decision which may be entirely different than someone elses.

Great point. :)

Example w/ VRT. The Eagle GT II's on my wife's truck were the perfect canvas. Filled the little seams on the sidewall, no sling, great durability. My Nitto Terra Grapplers....hated it.

I mostly use BnB on tires, but VRT on running board and bumper pads works really well.

Anyway - I'm grateful for the responses. Riichard - I believe your truck is one of the ones I've enjoyed gawking at during some shows in Antioch & Union City.

I wondered if that was you when i read the name. Jerry I think your name is correct? And thanks for the kind words on my truck.

Jerry I am! I believe we've shaken hands, Richard! Your truck is awesome. I'm missing the Antioch & Union City shows this year unfortunately. 'Til next time...

The Detail Spray is good stuff, but not my favorite. I really like the VRT, but have been using poorboys VRT instead. Not a huge fan of the butter wax, it was just ok (im a harsh critic). The carpet cleaner is ok too, but to expensive for any pro detailer. Spray glaze is nice but again I dont use glaze anymore.

I have tried almost the whole line. I started detailing with there essental kit as i was very impressed with about half the stuff and hated the other half. I cant rember the link but I did a thread about Adams help when i make my order and I posted a post that had my thoughts on everything. Search it or go through tmy public profil its got my opions on all the stuff

The FK qd beats Adams, I've tried both.

Adam's Metal polish is THE best stuff ever.

I've never heard anything great about the other stuff that was good enough to motivate me to try it.

I have every part of the lines except the metal polishes and I find it to be pretty average stuff!!! it is easy to use though!

I have the Detail Spray, Brilliant Spray Glaze, and Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner. Since purchasing the Detail Spray it has been my favorite QD, its nearest competitor in my kit is the now discontinued Meg's Final Detail. I prefer it over the oft touted CK's QS. One thing that I don't find to be true about the postings back when I purchased, and that is the claims that its cleaning capabilities equal those of PB's S&W.

I've only tried the BSG a couple of times on a very well prepped Silver Reflex (metallic with lots of flake). I couldn't determine any visual improvement, though it also didn't seem to mute the flake much, if at all. It is a breeze to apply and remove, if that has any value.

I just haven't gotten around to trying the Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner.
