Adam`s Strip Wash Quick Review

Bunky

Detailing Gnosis
I am prepping my Dakota for its winter protection and decided to try Adam`s Strip Wash. I had done a review recently on Chem Guys Clean Slate. The LSP was a mixed bag. The top surfaces was pretty much shot but the sides were still sheeting water quickly. It is the remnants of Blackfire Carnuaba Spray.

Observations
Color: blue
Scent (concentrate): Strong chemical smell - as if it may work
Dilution used: 1 ounce per gallon
Suds: Decent long lasting suds with my well water (ph 7.8, 5 to 7 grains hardness so hard water)
Lubricity: Good
Cleaning: Good, Does not seem to LSP safe at dilution used
Water spotting: Minimal
Rinsing: Very good
Wax/Sealant stripping: Seemed to change sheeting properties

Conclusions
During the wash it felt just like another other soap. It had no problem cleaning the truck. I had observed how the water sheeted while I was going a pre-rinse and my test was just to observe any change since the sides and the tailgate were sheeting quickly. I noticed an overall change in sheeting (much different than what I observed with CG Clean Slate). By accident I noticed that letting it dwell prior to rinsing seemed to change the sheeting more on a side by side I did with the tailgate. The question is it leaving something behind. At the end it was clearly more difficult to dry with my DP (now MK37) blower.

In my first use, I am optimistic in that it did something different that CG Clean Slate in the search for a stronger wash option other than adding APC to soap. I will try a more controlled experiment when I do another car in a few weeks.
