i will finish the rest of the car but thought that i would have fun doing a lil half and half enjoy

i was very upset about it and called them and showed them the pics and they said my car was like that ha they said they will give me free oil change next time

I hate dealerships who do cannot follow simple instructions, such as "do not wash my car".

I have signs that I put in page protectors and place them in my vehicle whenever it goes in for srvice that clearly state "do not wash!" I also did it in Spanish, as some of the "lot personnel" do not speak or read English.

I also make sure that the service writer marks do not wash on the paperwork.

So far it has worked...

Nice job ... that half-shot is amazing.

I guess they call them "hand washes" because they use their fingernails on your paint.

You only got a free oil change? I would have charged them by the hour to repair any and all damage!

That sounds EXACTLY like what I'd do...signs everywhere, all around the car, because even yelling it won't work. Just doesn't filter through the chain of command often.

Oy. They mean well...but end up wrecking even a semi-detailer's day.

ill play devils advocate and say there is no way that is from one single wash...that looks like a lot of washing that has either been covered up by a glaze/filling wax, or an accumulation of months of washing and you are just saying its the dealers fault...

just my opinion,

nice detail by the way though...that combo of RMG/souveran is worth its weight in gold on black

im not sayin that my car was swirl-free before but it sure wasnt like that. of course its gonna have swirls in it but they use a brush to clean the cars, ive seen them and said thats not hand washing, they said its not done by a machine so it is

what im sayin is that i didnt want them to wash it b/c they always ruin the paint and it wasnt perfect before but they made it a lot worse

I hope you don't mind but I borrowed a couple pictures and directed some members of a local Acura forum to this thread.

Cheers and good work here.

Being the owner of an Acura NBP, I know that it doesn't take much to cause the finish to look like that. Nice turnaround.
