Acura MDX

Got a call from this client after he saw a black CTS I corrected for his neighbor. He wanted me to clean-up his wife's MDX. Car is really hammered and in need of a full correction but we settled on a 1 step correction. Car sits outside 24/7 and had everything a detailer could ask for, RIDS, Marring, Bug and Bird etching, and holograms! And the best part......it's Black! But being an Acura, I know for the most part, paint would be on the softer side. This was no different. With the Flex 3401 and Optimum MF pads, I new this was going to fairly easy! Interior just got a vac. and wipe down.
Dawn/PC wash
Clayed with Clay Magic
Flex DA Opt. MF Cutting Pad and Opt. HP/D301
ONR wash
Perl on the wells
Opti-Sealed

Did you correct the b pillars? I have the same truck in white and want to correct the whole car incluidingf the B Pillars. Wondering what to use since they are super gloss black and plastic?

Yes the pillars were corrected. Mask off the trim first, they finished down flawless! Easy to correct.

Man, you did a great job! Cars like that will suck the fun right out of detailing :swirly:
Thank You! Actually I like jobs like this because the correction can really be seen! Unlike lighter colors.

Nice Job Black is tuff! You got a lot out with a 1 step!
Thank You! Flex+MF pads=success!
