Acrylic Spritz NO MORE!

I see Autopia is getting rid of Acrylic Spitz for Detailing Spritz. What's the deal!? I'm already mad that you can't by the stuff by the gallon :hairpull !

I see there reformulating SFX :woohoo: polishes.

Any chance Autopia aka Sonus America will start offering to business detailers larger quanities of the "detailing"spritz, shampoo, and all your great products? It would help me and others out. I run out so quick and it's so costly with shipping and reordering. I go through so much Acrylic Spritz, Sonus Car Shampoo, 303 and Paintswork cleaner.

Thank You! :sadwavey:

I have been buying up the Carnuba Spritz as its is end of the line too, I love this stuff so will be sad to see it go, the reason it is being replaced is for the same reason as the Acrylic one, I am just hoping the new version for both finishes really is better.

I think I am going to order some this week and a couple more bottles of Carnuba Spritz just in case.

I have tried the new detailing spritz on UPP and it is very good, didn't diminish the slickness of UPP at all, seems very good.

Rob If you have access to a car with a carnuba finish could you possibly gve it a try on a panel please... I love Carnuba Spritz over Souveran.

I hope it won't disappoint. I'm not worried because I still have my old Zymol Detail as a stand-by.

I hope Sonus retains the Acrylic Glanz though.

I will revert back to EF clear pearl if not, just the Sonus is so easy to import over here to the UK.

I think David says if sales are strong enough he will consider keeping the Acrylic and/or Carnauba QDs but you'd have to ask him for sure.

I do hear you on the lack of larger quantities issue. :( I sure wish gallons or half gallons were available as I believe there would be a big enough market for it. Nevertheless, 303 does come in gallons :).

I hope he keeps it the Acrylic Glanz. All my customers love it! That and 303 always want. That gets them to keep coming back to me.

I don't know how it could be better than Acrylic Glanz. Will the Detailing Glanz have carnuba in it?

I found the 303 gallons for $45. I emailed Autopia to see how much they would be from them because I need to order some acrylic glanz if there going to stop selling it :( .

I've been enjoying the Pinnacle Crystal Mist and I've heard that the Carnauba Spritz was very similar so it was going to be in my next order. Problem is, I have lots of stuff to use up, so it may be a couple more months until I need to order again. Hopefully the Carnauba Spritz doesn't go away in that time.. The sale price right now is almost too good to pass up, even if that's all I order (usually like to order several things because of high shipping costs).

Speaking of quantities per bottle, seems like all the new Sonus products are 8oz.. that seems awfully small when you consider the price..

The newest Sonus QD is compatible with both sealants and carnauba waxes. To the best of my knowledge, carnauba is not an ingredient unlike the Carnauba Spritz.

I'm pretty sure Autopia doesn't stock 303, or any product in gallon sizes. :(

I have taken the liberty of moving this thread to the Ask The Manufacturer Forum so that DavidB can reply to these questions "legally", just like all other manufacturers. :up

Well have just ordered another 3 bottles of the Carnuba Spritz just in case, and a bottle of the new detailing spritz to find out for myself.

Has anyone heard from David whether or not the Carnuba Spritz will remain in the Sonus Product Line? Like others, I will be stocking up on the Carnuba Spritz if it is to be removed from the line up.

An update from anyone who has spoken with or heard from David would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

We need to stand together! I don't know what I would do with out it! :hairpull

EVERYBODY WHO WANTS AUTOPIA TO KEEP DISTRIBUTING ACRYLIC SPRITZ & CARNUBA SPRITZ REPLY TO THIS POST!

My customers are going to be pissed! :angry

I hope that David decides to keep the CS in the Sonus line up. I got some of the Detailing Spritz today and as much as I like new products I am not sure that I like this as much as the old CS. I found the DS to be very thick and almost hard to spread with a MF.

The CS was much smoother. I hope that he decides to keep both in the Sonus arsenal.. :xyxthumbs

I guess it depends what you use it on - I found it really easy to use on UPP and it gave a super slick finish! This new one may be more like the acrylic spritz, better on sealants?
