Howdy y'all...
Apologies for starting another one of these threads. I know there are a lot of them out there, and I feel like I've read them all! At this point, I feel like I am getting *more* confused the more I read.
So, first up I will be working on a 2007 VW GTI, black magic paint in relatively good condition. There are lots of swirls, but they don't seem very deep. I am starting with sample sizes of Meg's 105 and 205, and will be finishing with Zaino. I have pretty much decided on getting a 7424XP, and I would really like to get a kit if possible. I am eyeing this one, in particular:

I am just having a hard time deciding whether the 6.5" pads are the right size to get, or if I should go with 4" pads. I am thinking I am just going to start with one size and then take it from there if I decide I need more. Also wondering what the right combination of pads would be. I am thinking either 1 yellow/2 orange/2 white/2 black, or 3 white/1 black. [I am considering a yellow pad because I want to help a buddy try to buff some oxidation off his roof before selling an older civic...it probably won't see any use on my car.]
One final topic if anyone is still reading: I am wondering if I can get away with just using 205 on my car, or if I will need both 105 and 205. I am getting both so I can experiment, but I would like to hear what you guys recommend.
