about to get my wheels powdercoated

so my wheels are going in to be powdercoated tommorow. i wanted to know if there is any sort of a cure time to wait before I seal them, i wanted to do the whole wheel while i had it off.. I was planning on going with my normal aproach, Klasse AIO and two or three coats of PB WS. Should i wait some time or what?

I don't think you will need any "cure time" as the curing is done in the baking process, usually about 300-400 degrees F for about 10-20mins. Powdercoat is actually just Plastic dust sprayed dry to an electrically charged metal part. Then it is heated (oven or heat lamps) to melt and the dust flows into a nice durable coat.



You should be okay, I probably would wait a day before touching them.
 
yea i know how powdercoat works, thanks, i just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything i might need to know
 
I had my wheels powdercoated last year and I sealed them the day I took them home. I was told they were good as soon as they came out of the oven and cooled
