a spritz of Spray & Wipe with SSR2.5

is this common? Add a spritz of your favorite QD with your abrasive polish?

I work on a 1995 Tahoe (BLACK) yesterday ... I thought I would need Optimum Compound and Yellow pads *(that worked well)*, but the 2nd pass was with SSR2.5 and Orange pads, I've read that a little QD helps to minimize dusting ... so I tried it, got the product a little wet and I was concerned at first at the appearance of wet like product, BUT amazing how well it worked it and broke down!

a quick spritz added to a dime sized amount of product on each area.

looked a little wet when I worked it around at speed 3 ... but less dusting at speed 6 and the final was 80-85% swirl free!

Did I strike some gold in this find or did I just miss reading it over the last 4-5months?

the product had a milky type appearance, not really WET, but wet enough it would run down the vertical panels! I quickly moved the product over the area that I working on and the FINAL look was sooo much better than an area without a spritz of QD ...

hello fellow autopians?

Steve (PB) has mentioned that no added liquid should be used with his SSR's (QD nor water) . Something to do with them not breaking down properly or being too agressive too quickly, or something. I sometimes use S+W to remove the residue (If I've applied it too thick, pad got clogged etc.), but haven't used it with the SSR.

But, I guess this main thing is that it's working for you. ;)
