A quick Zaino question

I have slight scratches on my black truck that has Zaino on it. If i hit it with SMR with my buffer do I/should I have to Dawn it and will it effect previous coats of Zaino?? CAn I Z5 right over the SMR if I dawn it??

Dawn wash the affected area when done with the SMR, and then reapply your Zaino. The SMR will remove the zaino as you polish out the swirls.
 
SMR contains oils and fillers, so yes the area will need to be washed before Zaino is applied to ensure proper bonding. No need to dawn wash the entire car, just the panel you are working on.
 
Yes, SMR will remove Zaino...



And Dawn wash to remove the oils from SMR and you'll have to start from scratch with the Z again!:(



But your truck will look better afterwards!
