A picture of my car and a friends...No 56k

Wow. No broadband either. Even on my brother's computer, it is taking time. You really need to change your bitmap images to jpegs. When each picture is more than 2 MB in size, it takes time even with a fast connection.

Looks good though, would you like to share your detailing techniques?

Nice pictures.

Hehe, Scott- I saw your user name as the last post on the home page and thought "Didn't he read the title? He's not invited!"

:p

GC, MC, GC, #83, ColorX, NXT with PC and Yellow Pads on 6sp Setting...

Sorry for the bmp, I dont know why...But when I change the size of the pics, the quailty gets REALLY crappy...I'll change it to just links...

The easiest solution for you, open them up in your graphics program, paint shop pro for example, and with each one select, Save As from the menu, when the options appear select jpeg or jpg and then save.

This has the effect of compressing all the images for you, you simply need to upload these jpg's to your webspace and delete those uber large bmp's!

Hope this is of some help

Download Picasa and all your photo resizing and compression problems will be solved.

I have been messing with Picasa..its an awesome program. How do you resize pics with it and compress??? Haven't figured that out yet.

Awesome pics though. Cars look great !!!!

Holy Huge Photo :soscared:

Very good choices in rims. Both of your cars looked good. I was especially impressed with the base camaro and the japanese z06 studded wheels. It made a world of difference in its appearance.

Very impressive (and I am usually a stickler when it comes to aftermarket wheels.....good sense of balance).

yeah no joke.... seeing as long as just the first pic is taking, I'm not even wasting the time to look at them all no matter how good they are.

Download the free image optimizer. Open the picture in the program, click 'save optimized as' and it will automatically convert to a jpeg and maybe around 100KB file size instead of 2.5MB.

This is what Im talking about... You just lose the quality...

bmp.bmp

jpg.JPG

sorry dude but, ah, I see no major difference.

And besides, like I said before, I'm a WHOLE lot less likely to download BMPs regardless of quality if they're taking 5 minutes per picture.
