A Nice Little Saturday

Took the camera along for a nice little Saturday last week. All cars were done by Southerndetail and myself.

The Lexus and BMW were wash and waxes. The Land Rover was just a wash and the Lambo was spray waxed. The next three are from a fleet wash for a contracting company. The 5 Cadillacs are from the Cadillac display at a local Home & Garden show where we cleaned 10 Cadillacs (the 5 shown along with an XLR, SRX, ESV, STS and DTS outside) before and after each day of the show.

The Murcielago was done using an instant detailer and then a spray wax. Rims were cleaned using an instant detailer, tires dressed and a vacuum and windows. The car is never dirty. We wash it 1 to 3 times a week like this. We have only used water on it twice, maybe 3 times. He's funny because we will wash it one day and put the cover on it and come back two days later to wash another vehicle of his and he'll get us to take the cover off and "dust it off" while we're there. Needless to say, he is a very good customer.

WHERES THE MUD!!!!!!! Yesterday 3 washes afternoon and about 200 gallon of water out the door. Along with about 200 lbs of mudd! Worse part about it was 2 were my own and the last a full detail, was in exchange for watching the 9 year old after school. We pushed mud and water out the garage 6 times on those 3 vehicles. We have a french drain and the soil is saturATED from the heavy snow melting. Sure made my rusted 88 f150 a lot lighter, not better looking as rust spots all over every oanel except drivers door which was replaced 10 years ago. gotta love the IOWA salt. It was my garage queen untilsept 2000. RANDAL
