A New Acquisition

You guys may recall this thread where I showed you my nutty side in the form of a 3M traffic light. Well...I've lost it yet again and just bought another traffic light off eBay.

This one is a bit more traditional but is also brand new, in the original box and I'm hoping it will be here by Friday. It's coming from St. Louis so I'm not too sure. Once it gets here I'm going to have to order a timer, wire that, put it up on a pole and it will go next to the 3M signal in the garage.

You should hook it up to one of those parking assist sensors so when you pull in the garage it tells you when to stop....

You know that would be kinda cool, if it would change from green to yellow to red as you near the stopping point. Would defintely be a unique garage appointment and a conversation piece.

It's funny you should say that. I've thought about doing it if I could figure out how the wiring works with those sensors. But then again I have a fail-safe parking method; as soon as the pillar on the right of my car goes flush with the passenger side door frame, I stop.

The guy's got two left if you want one. They are brand new which is hard to find.
