I have had a '97 Harley Road King since new, and maintained the painted areas (which are minimal) in near perfect condition. For the last half of the eight years I've used Zaino, and continue to do so.
The gas tank has a raised dashboard or console on top of it. So there is a tendency to rub parallel to this raised portion. Although I've used MF towels since the Zaino, I notice I have tiny straight swirl lines parallel to the console. This is probably from when I used to use cotton towels.
Anyway, what would be the best product to remove these from the clear and reinitialize the whole process with the Zaino system?
The surfaces are so small, I'd want to do it by hand. I have both SMR for dark colors and Scratch-X "in stock" but can buy anything needed. Is foam applicator better than cotton for this work?
Thanks.
