Hello to all you auto cleaning junkies. :)

I've been snooping around here for about a week now & decided it was time to register. I have found some great advice here that has already improved my skills tremendously. Especially the tips on engine detailing & door jambs. :beer Thank you much.

A little history (if you care ;) ),
Age 15 I got into body work. At 18 I started in a production body shop that took up the next 2 1/2 years. Went freelance for awhile, then went into the steel business. Heck of a change, eh. 10 years later I started programming the steel cutting machines. Boredom set in, butt started growing roots in the chair. Decided to get back into messing with cars in evenings & weekends.
Spent 3 years doing both, then got ill. Last 4 years been layed up,
Now I'm back into life @ 37 & need to do something I enjoy.

I'm bound to have a few questions considering my mind/memory isn't what it use to be & there are some products I know nothing about. For my first question, I'm heading to the Main Street section, so see you there.

Welcome! You sure have been around the job market. Glad to have another body guy round here. Feel free to ask anything and even throw in a pointer or two. Hope you enjoy DC as much as everyone else here does.

Thanks Koop. DC has already become a daily stop for me. :)
Once I clean some of the rust out of my brain, I'll see if I have any input that'll be worth anything. ;)

Welcome Dad. Glad you found us and nice to have another member with some body shop experience.

Take your coat off and stay a while. Cheers!
