A good applicator for waxing wheels?

I've been using a terry towel when waxing my wheels in the past, but it's too bulky and awkward to get the wax into the little nooks and crannies. And it soaks up wax (or Zaino in my case) like crazy.

Is there a good tool available that makes applying wax to wheels easier? Thanks!

Well, yeah, it's OK on the flat surfaces, but what I have trouble with is the corners and small areas where a towel or foam applicator has a hard time reaching.

Maybe I should just get a MF mitt and try that.

I have some of those foam paint brushes. They come in different sizes. I have one that is 3/4 of an inch wide. It works great for tight spots.

When in nooks and crannys, use some cotton swabs to get the corners. For the rest of the wheel, just use a mf, cotton, or foam applicator. Much easier application either way.

Btw, you should try #20 on wheels. Very easy on and off, and seems to be very durable.

I use a pair of MF gloves or just thin cotton ones and it has been the best thing I have found.. I can use all my fingers to get the areas that are hard and it really helps in the removal process as well.....

I've never waxed my rims before. Would that be better than using the Blue Magic Metal Polish that I've been using? Blue Magic leaves behind a nice clear silicone coating and is shiney as hell.

Try cutting a sponge wipe to whatever shape you want (the type you get for cleaning worktops in kitchens) I have been using these, cut in half to apply wax/polish for Years.

Ah yes, good ideas - all of them! Thank you guys.

The PakShak things are probably exactly what I'm looking for but I can't seem to find them on the website. I may just get some MF gloves and try those.

I may try #20, and see if it works better than Z.
