Garry Dean Quality!
Forum member, Chris (1MZsLastForever), stopped by my shop yesterday for some headlight restoration. I did the restoration and then applied Optimum Opti-Guard to seal the deal.

Thanks for watching!

He mentioned a concern for damaging his engine if he attempted to detail his engine bay so I gave him some pointers on that too. I did a basic detail on the engine bay.

Nice job. Looks like I'm not the only one who uses plastic under the hood to keep all the important stuff dry.

Good job as always Garry but you look a little short in the video. :)

Covering coil packs and other electronics is always a good idea. My father learned that the hard way. He had to replace coil packs twice and finally the dealer told him to stop getting them wet when he cleaned the engine compartment

Thanks, lol. I'm 5'6. Chris has to be at least 6'6.

Those turned out great! Looks like the outside was pretty good. Now with headlights and engine done he's good to go.
I need to do my Jetta lights as soon as I get the time. Definitely will use the Opti-guard based on your results and suggestions.

Yeah, opti-guard seems to really work well on headlights. Thanks, John.

Nice video. You sure can whip that camera around....you are a master at handling the camera (composition, steadiness).

So, you used an orange pad/M105 on the right and a PFW on the left and finished both with M205. Why?

I forgot I had the smaller pfw before I started. I am all out of 4" orange pads and need to place an order. I started with the orange Sonus pad and tore it up on the nipples that poke out on his headlights so I searched through my stock and found pfw.
