A few teaser videos of a JB BMW 135i

ouch! so what's your secret to finishing down black without any holograms?

This one is alot worse then the video shows.

R/O with M205/black flat pad on most paints, this one might require 085rd/black pad. We shall see.

Bryan did you get a flip? Videos are the wa to go. Looks like fun! good luck on that one! :wavey

No flip here Barry, I took these with my HTC Evo phone which does HD video.

The hood has some nice deep etching, the client just wants the swirls removed.

I think the sides are worse swirl wise then the horz panels.

I even boke out the rotary on this one.... :nervous2:

Used the KBM via the rotary, wool primed w/ M105, about 1000rpm and mist the area with water...

That worked just ok, it seems like I can cut more of the deeper stuff out with KBM: festool, tang pad with 105. Lots o pressure and the festool will not bog down.

You can see the etching in the paint in the after pic here. No final polishing yet.

Yes the car was riddled with water spots that the client elected not to have removed at this time, even on the vertical panels. :(

Not 100% happy with how the HD video came out, but I was running short on time.

Good job, Bryan. A little off topic, but how do you like the Evo? I'm trying to get it in the next few weeks since I have the HTC Hero and it's so slow all around and keeps coming up with errors and etc.

Thanks DJ. I thought I had replied to your EVO question the other day. I'll figure out this forum stuff sooner or later.

Pros:

Andriod 2.1 with the processer in this phone is very fast. No lag at all.

Large screen that after 2 weeks I feel is normal. My TP2 now seems to have a small screen.

Still camera with 8mp and the HD camcorder seem to do very well. Its still a cell phone with a small camera sensor.

Facebook, youtube and twitter updates for pics and videos are very easy.

4G is very fast if they have it in your area.

3G seems much faster then the 3G from my TP2.

Many apps to do just about anything.

Google maps/GPS has me not using the crappy $2k GM NAV in my truck.

Cons:

Battery when the 4G, wi-fi or GPS is left on.

You just have to manage which is easy to do. Turn off 4G when not in a 4G area or you are not using the net, ect.

I always have it on the charger when in the car.
