Hi guys, new to the forums but I thought I'd show of a bit of my work and my process. I am very very open to critique and criticism so feel free to fire away.



I'll start of with an STI:



Process:

Cleared headlights w/ Meguiars PlastX and 4" orange pad

Interior Cleaned w/ combination of Blitz APC, Cockpit Premium and FK 228

Engine Bay cleaned using Blitz APC and dressed with FK 108

Wheels cleaned using IronX, MAGnificent and dressed with FK 108

Washed with FK 118

Claybar w/ Mother's clay and Mother's QD

Polish w/ 105 on an orange pad

Polish w/ 205 on a white pad

FK 2685 Wax applied

FK 228 for the glass

Interior cleaned using a combination of Blitz APC, 1z Cockpit premium, Optimum Protectant Plus, FK 228

Engine Bay cleaned using Blitz APC and dressed with FK 108

Wheels cleaned using MAGnificent and dressed with FK 108

Wash with 118

Claybar w/ claymagic and FK 425

Polish w/ 105 on a yellow pad

Polish w/ 205 on an orange pad

FK 1000p used for sealant

FK 228 for the glass

To say the car had some swirls would be an....understatement

uncorrected vs. 1st pass on the right vs. 2nd pass on the left. The whole car required two passes of 105, some needing 3. Normally I'm able to get enough work time out of 1 pass to correct. Not so with this paint.

Great job on all the cars. I love the STI blue. The Lexus engine...almost doesn't look like an engine! And the Infinity intake is just weird and ugly. Had never seen 'inside' either of these cars. LOL!
