ShineTyme Detailing
1) Does anyone know if the Meguiars wheel brightner is an acid cleaner? Im assuming it is, it is sold in the professional line. ( the purple stuff) and if so , what kind of wheels can it be used on , chrome? i have bought the stuff and am afraid to use it yet, i also have megs hot rims as whell, ( which i dont think is acidic because it says safe on all wheels) also, is there any kind of wheel cleaner out there that can be used after the rinsing? like say im done with the car and i want to go over the rimes to get the crap i missed ? I noticed that most cleaners dont work becasue they need to be rinsed off.

2) what is the best way to shine tires with white lettering? I always seem to make the letters look dirty, ive tried apc but that doesnt seem to make them much better. Thanks for the advice,
Brandon

HBblazer,
Not sure about the Megs stuff, I've never used it. The bottle should clearly say how to use the product and precaution about what not to use it on. Acid cleaners, I don't use them on polished surfaces at all, including wheels. Otherwise, acid is my best friend, makes things much easier and I always rinse it off well. To get the missed areas after, I use a terry towel and final inspection so I don't have to rinse again.
