This will be my first click and brag and eh heres my truck it only took me about 4 hours I'm a bit exhausted. Its my "first car" and was neglected by my dad before I had it. So considerin I was able to make it look this good for 8 year old neglected paint im happy.

Process:

Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover(hey it works surprisingly) to remove sticker residue..

QD'd to get any loose dirt off(since I washed it yesterday!)

Clayed with a random gray clay bar and meg's last touch.

#80 with DA on the hood(theres some random swirling and it wasnt worth my time to spend 6 hours removing it all on a white truck sooo)

I decided to go with show car glaze #7 all over.

ScratchX by hand on a few areas(where stickers were and stuff)

Meg's #21 via DA

I think I am gonna hit another coat of #21 real quick tomorrow if I can find the time.

Results=WOW WHITE CAN SHINE!

Yeah Im pretty happy it hasnt looked this good well uh ever. :)

Ain't no shame there , brother.

VERY impressive results on white for paint of any age.

(I own white too, so I feel your pain).

Nice job. No, GREAT job. :2thumbs:

haha. thanx guys. I think I am gonna pick up some applicator pads and hit it with some Natty's paste later. I have some and havent got to try it yet!

Looks great:goodjob

How did you apply the megs 7, was it by PC or hand?

I used a meg's hi-tech applicator pad by hand. Wipe on the #7 take it off with a chemical guys polishing towel... works amazingly if I do say so. :) Took awhile tho. Well worth it!

Be careful buddy! If you get addicted you will be like the rest of us, spending our free time tweeking the paint every chance you get.

That truck looks fantastic, and Toyotas will last forever. Get some wheels on that thing and it will be big pimpin.

Thanx man. Yes the first was my intake and exhaust. My friend told me his dad could get me half of on wheels so im gonna see about it. and yeah of course it'll last forever i have 116,000 and somethin miles and it runs just beautifully. gotta love the toyotas..

Great job!

What year is it? Which engine does it have? If you take care of it that thing will last forever!

99 2.4L I4

It is definitely gonna last forever I baby it way too much.

And the intake helped a bit with the lack of power so not bad for a little 4 cylinder truck. It still sucks up gas too. :P
