'99 supercharged BMW Dinan 7 detail

1 Clean WS6

Detailing Rottweiler
Hey all!!

This slick beast was a referral from a recently acquired client of mine called Performing Imports (www.performingimports.com). They are a local BMW/Mercedes tuner shop and a full fledged Dinan dealer. Cool guys with a taste for high horsepower Bavarian muscle...my kinda peeps. ;)

This 740 is a two owner and shows 98K on the odo. It has the complete Stage 3 Dinan kit installed and a Vortech blower pushing about 6psi...good for a tad over 400 at the wheels. The entire car was in well kept condition...dirty yet neat (if that makes any sense). The paint is original and showed moderate marring and some rock chips. The interior is completely original as well and aside from a nasty driver's mat and some dirty leather was in excellent condition. Below is a description of products and process used.

Enjoy,

Mike

Wash with Meg's Gold Class shampoo

Polish with Poorboy's SSR 2.5 using an LC orange pad and my PC set at 5-6.

Polish with Poorboy's SSR 1 using an LC white pad and my PC set at 5-6.

I obviously did not detail the engine...but I did go for a ride in a S3 M3...that though is for another thread. ;)

Excellent as expected, Mike. :)

Really wet looking paint and even the interior looks top notch! And believe me, from someone who has cleaned several of those 7's light tan (or whatever they call it) interior, that is no faint praise! That color can be really tough, even in a well cared for car.

:thx all for the kind words!!

SHICKS the rims were pretreated with Meg's Wheel Brightener, washed and dried and then sealed with PB's wheel sealant.
