99.9% Correction, 1998 GMC Yukon

Hey guys, been a while.



Here is a 1998 that I bought and am flipping for profit. All original paint, 1 owner from the

country. Bought it for 500 bucks, with a blown engine. Bought a rebuilt at a heck of a deal.



Here is my budget:



Truck: $500

+ Engine: $600

+ Safety Work: $350 (bushings and brakes)

+ Tint: $100

+ Leather Seat Repair: $125

+ Tires: $25 / tire

+ Detail Work: $Priceless$ lol

Sale Price: $7995 CHACHING!



Detail wise, it was pretty hideous. Paint was in terrible shape, and interior had 240,000km worth of wear.

Process:

Exterior:

- XP Synthetic Cut x2 via wool

-XP Synthetic Cut x1 on cutting pag

- Power Cut Plus via polishing pad

- Power Cut Plus via finishing pad

- 50/50 Finishing polish

- Film Cleaner Polish

- Awesome Gloss



Underbody work:

- Underwash

- Undercoating



Interior:

-Remove seats

-APC and extractor (10 gallons of dirty water)

- Dress It Right on plastics (cleaned with APC)



Engine bay:

-Degrease

-Pressure wash

-Dress It Right.

Relatives, local friends IMO. You never see good deal publicly, they're all gone by the time they reach mainstream.



That's a great turn around. It must be even more rewarding considering the sell price. Do you have a lot to sell them? Do you reap the profit, or are you doing it for someone else?



I wish I had skill with engines, because I've thought of doing the same.

Out by my uncles place, about 100km east of Winnipeg. Old man could be bothered with it anymore, and it was just sitting there for the last 5 months, so I asked him if he was willing to sell.

I do a vehicle a month on the side for myself. I do however work for a dealership detailing and doing sales.
 
Great find and recon. Done a few in my past and always had a silly smirk on my face when i sold them.

I can get great deals on tires. Friend is the owner of a michelin dealer. I did indeed do the engine myself.

I did this when I was in high school in 1988 I bought a white 1981 Rabbit 4dr at a gas station near my house. I took it home and put it in the paper for $1900. I sold it in 3 days.



Made $1,500 in 3 days. No wash, no nothing. Keep it up.



Pick yourself up a Black Book (better for West of the Mississippi) and find a local dealer to give you some old auction reports. You will get a good idea what to pay for stuff form the auction reports. You should have no trouble getting $7000-7200 for that, check KBB.com.
