'98 Camry roof - advice please

Hey Folks,



Here's the challenge - by far the worst I've encountered, so I'm hoping for some tips from those that have been-there-done-that. Pics are from the owner - I haven't seen the car in-person yet.

The goal is to improve the finish as much as possible and to avoid a repaint as long as possible. I'm grateful in advance for your thoughts.
 
Ouch! I have no advice... just ouch! I would love to see what you are able to do with it... keep us posted after you get some ideas and start working on it.

Yep, tell him to cancel his appointment with you and to make one with Maaco or Earl Scheib ;)



You could compound, polish, and wax to make it a little better, but it's gonna get pretty dull again pretty quick w/o any clear.
