'96 Volvo- not much to brag about outside, but inside....

It had 93K on the odo, but it had 150K in the carpets and seats. The exterior had lots of scratches and dings, so it's not worth much to post the exterior. The interior was a night/day difference.

Well then- I'll consider that a big compliment.

My process is vaccum with shop vac for the heavy stuff. I pre-treat everything with Johnson Wax extraction cleaner solution- mixed per the instructions on the container. I bought a yeard/garden sprayer to keep the solution in, and just pupmp it up and spray away. I hand scrub the carpets with a soft brush to avoid felting, then use the Thoro Matic extractor to get all the solution out. Depending on the car, I may use the JW solution in the extractor, or just straight hot-as-you-can-get-it water in the tank. I go over the areas a few times before moving to the next area. That's all for the carpets and seats.

I wipe everything down with Griot's interior cleaner, and then treat with Griot's vinyl/rubber dressing. I use their window cleaner also, but use a MF towel to dry the windows.

BTW- the car is a gift to his daughter for college graduation. He was very please, and she should be also.
