95 ZR-1 Corvette...rare color too

Thought I'd share some pics from another detail because it's just such a cool car! Rare color too. It had some medium swirling and water etching; biggest problem was finding a combo that worked with the paint. Getting pictures was also very challenging because lighting conditions gave the camera fits and made it hard to pic up the true color of the car...

Hood before (no afters pics didn't come out)

And here's an outside after shot, I'd still like to take it out under different lighting conditions to get some better pics..

btw, I think only 12 of this color were made that year and 25 total.

Nice machine and nice detail. What combo did you go with?

I think it would be easier to tell you what I didn't try! The water etching on the hood just did not want to come out! I went through the rainbow with foams, black, white, orange, and finally down to yellow. I used everything from Opti, 3m swirl, HTEC, 106, & SIP.

Orange/SIP, White/106, Black/FP, Souveran nuba coats I believe was used as the final combo.

Oh and I wipped the tires down with 303 for pics ;)

That effort definitely paid off. The car looks great! Interesting color.

Thanks guys! Again sorry for the sub par photos, I'll try to "Bella" them up some! :D
