Here's the Before and After pics from a detail I did over the weekend for a client. This was a simple Wash, Clay, Wax and Buff. 2 hours later and her we have it.

The BEFORE and AFTER for pics #1 are of the scratches on the hood. Most of them came out except for the gouge. Also removed a few more along the sides that were visible if standing next to it. I think the car came out nice and the owner was very pleased. He said it hadn't been detailed in a few years and hadn't waxed it in over a year. Let me know what you good folks think.

I'm a sucker for '94-'96 B-bodies, thanks for sharing this one.

I think it turned out very nice. I don't think I would've taken any more off the hood, better to just improve it greatly (as you did) and leave plenty of clear. Good job!

Thank you. Coming from you that is a great compliment. Now if Scottwax chimes in I'll rollover. :shocked On the hood I used #83 and a purple pad with a rotary. I stopped on it because I was thinking the same. Didn't want to burn it and it still looked great. The sides were fairly easy as the car doesn't have alot of sharp curves. Very smooth. I'll be doing this persons `99 300M next. From what I know that car has never had a serious detail since new. Just a few wax jobs. I'll post those after I get done.
