I acquired a 93 Civic from my brother in law who purchased it new. The car has 50k on the clock and looked like new except for the typical Honda rust. Since I didn't have any money into it I decided it was worth putting new inner and outer rear quarters on it with a set of wheels. The car looks like it was in a time capsule except for the slight fading of the red paint on the drivers door and roof. You can only see it in the right light but being the perfectionest I would like to try to correct it. I have used Menzerna SIP (orange pad) and 106FF (charcoal pad) on the car with good results but it didn't quite bring the color back. any suggestions? would wetsanding & polish bring it back? I have no problem leaving it as is but why not practice a few new techniques.
