Morning all,

I have an old (was a gift around 1992) 9" sears random orbital polisher/ buffer. I may have used it 3 times back then and put it in the garage cause I prefered to hand wax.

Are these things any good? I plan on claying the Wife's '97 Kia and applying the Ultima paint guard prep and paint guard plus. I hand applied the paint guard prep on the F-250, but am considering using this polisher to do the KIA. Any thoughts, advice?

Thanks

Randy

'I have the 11\" version of that polisher and it works fine for applying AIO or standard cleaner wax, but it does not have the power nor the availability of pads. For mine, i only have the ability to buy microfiber, terrycloth, and wool bonnets. Good luck with it, it is better than hand, but not really that much.'
