#9 and FP

yo guys, i have a question. i am running low on # 9 and have plenty of FP. i usually use #9 and NXT on the cars that i detail unless they need the menzerna IP and FP treatment. I think FP is better than # 9 but are they similar when it comes to abrasives ??

i thought i would just start using FP followed by NXT.

And since NXT is said to remove light scratches and swirls, if i chose to use it as a one step item, can i use it with a white CMA pad ?? i have been using NXT withthe gray CMA pad ;)

it means its really filling in the swirls instead of removing them completely. Eventually after several washs the swirls will begin to reappear. I have this stuff, it seems to be more of a glaze than a true polish.
