88 Ferrari Mondial 3.2 Cab (33 pics)

Well it’s been awhile since I have posted on here. I have just been busy with many things, including detailing. I have done a couple of other cars but didn’t have time to document like I wanted, so no bother posting them.



Today I completed a detail on this 1988 Ferrari Mondial 3.2 Cabriolet. Car has roughly 14k on it and the owner recently acquired it. It definitely needed some love. Exterior was a little rough and interior leather needed a good cleaning. I spent about 13 hours on the car.



Process:

Exterior –

No Wash since it was pretty clean. Simply wiped down with FK425 and then clayed.

HiTemp EC with Foamed Wool @ 1500rpms

Menz SIP with Orange Cut Pad @ 1500rpms

Menz 106FF with Blue Finesse Pad @ 1500rpms

FK425 wipedown

Zymol Ital

Tires Dressed with Z16



Interior-

Vacuumed

Folex on pretty much everything.

Leather cleaned with Pristine Clean and treated with Z10.

Treated plastics, dash, vinyl with 303.

Very liquid looking paint. From the pics at least, the paint doesn't seem to have the usual pits that older SS paints have.



I agree, however, that that particular Ferrari looks a bit odd in a convertible.
