845IW over 2 coats of OS + OCW. Overkill?

I am finishing up a NVPP for my new car and am debating as to whether or not to go ahead and do one coat of 845 over my two coats of OS that were 24 hours apart. After another 24 hours of the second OS application, I did a once over with OCW and that's how it sits now. I'm looking for lasting protection through the upcoming fall and winter months until March rolls around where I can do another full protection for the spring/summer.

What do you all think? Should I just rest assured with what I have or go ahead with the 845?

Additional coats will help ensure full coverage, but I'm not sure it will prolong protection.

Someone correct me if I'm misguided.

You`ve enough protection on there already with maybe another quick coat of OCW every now and again, but a couple of coats of 845 if you were keen sure wouldn`t do any harm.

i do 2 coats of 845 on my dd CTS but just to insure coverage. i easily get six months out of it with only weekly washing/blow dry and parking outside 24/7. i really don't believe that any more layers will give you more protection. just my opinion/experience.

that many layers of products is absolutely ridiculous and you should be banned! :lol

j/k. i typically "over do it" on vehicles when i first get them too. on my latest car, i started with zaino z5 x2 and z8 x1 the following day. i'll be putting some 845 over all of it in the next week and then let it be...just maintaining as usual.

in reality, i'm with the others above that don't believe as much in layers vs. just ensuring complete coverage. assuming you are not missing large sections with each layer, anything past two applications of something is really starting to hit diminishing returns.

congrats on the new ride, btw!
